Project Manager View

ProjectXecute provides Project Managers with real-time project and productivity data for decision support. Project Managers have the ability to monitor the status of various projects based on cost, schedule and progress. Rather than wasting time with calls and emails, ProjectXecute provides PMs with instant visibility into project schedules, resources and time - all in one place.

ProjectXecute also gives Project Managers the ability to search for and assign resources to tasks based on customizable criteria such as availability, skill or location. On the Resource Assignment Screen, Project Managers can see the potential impact of their assignments before making them, ensuring that no resource is over-allocated. Holiday and vacation time are also included in resource availability views, giving Project Managers the full picture for more effective decision-making.

Robust reporting within ProjectXecute gives Project Managers the ability to know right away if projects are being started on time or not, and if actual hours are in line with what have been scheduled. They can also look at project status in terms of percent complete, and see how many hours are billable, bringing in revenue for the organization.

Current Microsoft Project users can continue to use the solution to create project schedules, yet integration with ProjectXecute gives Project Managers a view of the actual time that Team Members track against their tasks. Project Managers can do this through the Microsoft Project interface by selecting Tools and Journyx Integration. This will populate ProjectXecute with data from MS Project and create assignments for team members. As Team Members track time against this work, the data flows back into MS Project, updating the project schedule.
